Brothers

I always wanted a brother. I love my three sisters, but I always thought it would be the best to have a big brother who would protect me from bullies, give me piggy back rides, teach me how to do all kinds of cool things... instead I was the oldest of four girls. I gotta say, though, it wasn't all that bad. The only bad thing, is that I had no clue what to do with boys when I had one of my own. Now that I have TWO of my own, I'm kinda figuring out what boys are all about. They are rock throwing, tree climbing, fast running bundles of energy that I don't know how to keep up with. The mom of these boys has twice the boy power to deal with that I do! Actually, she's lucky. These boys are pretty darn good kids. There was still some rock throwing involved, but can you blame them? (Or should I say one of them... betcha you can guess which one!) That's way more fun!

You know when your kid says...

"Mom, you need one of those Epiphanie bags!" that it must be true. And OH how it's true! I have two little camera bags that I squish all my stuff into, plus they are ugly. I'd LOVE one of these! Design Aglow is giving one away, and I'd LOVE to win it! Did I mention how much I LOVE these?? They are so awesome! It's hard to believe they are camera bags, they are so gorgeous.

Florida's Newest Little Citizen

I'm so glad I got to meet this little angel baby before she and her family moved across the country to Florida! She was such a sweetie. She has three big brothers who adore her, and a mom and dad who are LOVING finally having a little girl! I wish their family all the best as they adjust to their new life in sunny Florida! I'm sure mom will want a little break from unpacking to have a peek at these. :)

It' Great to be 8

I was so excited for this session. I love eight year olds. And this one JUST got baptized. She looked so fresh and sweet in her pretty white dress. She was a natural model, and even wanted her little brothers to hop in a shot with her. They were doing a great job making her smile. I can tell she is a great big sister. And when I asked her if she was getting tired of taking pictures, she said no. I may have to hire her!

On the Go!

This little baby girl is quite the little mover! She is barely 7 months, and is crawling like crazy! It was much more fun crawling away than sitting for pictures, but we pulled out our bag of tricks, and a few of those tricks worked... for a minute anyway! Her favorite one was looking in the mirror. But even that one didn't last. It was on to the next adventure!

Together

Look! We really did get some of these two sweeties together. Big brother was so cute with his little sis, even when she was getting tired of the whole thing :)

Big Brother and Baby Sis

What a couple of cuties! I could tell big brother loved his tiny little sister, he just didn't want to hold her for a picture. My basket of trucks was much more fun! He was sure a cutie, though. I love 2 year olds. And I even got a kiss from this handsome guy!

And then there was his teeny tiny little sister. After hearing her story, there is no doubt that she is a miracle baby, and I'm so glad she is doing so well. She's beautiful!

We did manage to get a few of them together. I'll try to post some more as soon as I finish editing!

Look at the smile on this cute little thing! One of my favorite families... love you guys. :)

So many leaves... so little time!

It's so fun to go out in the fall leaves and do family pictures. We got some great family group shots of these guys, but when there is a two year old involved, and you throw in those fall leaves, there is only time for playing. And running - FAST. He was definitely a mover. He didn't have time in his busy toddler life to sit still for anything, especially pictures. We did manage to catch one of him by himself. And isn't he a cutie!?


Then just try to get him to lay down in the leaves with his sisters. That was funny! This was the one and only one we got without him rolling out of the shot. HAHA! But doesn't his personality just shine through?

But his cute sisters were pros. They knew just what to do.

And they were having a great time!

I'm Thankful for Cooperative Weather!

Titles are obviously not my strength, but since it's November, I thought I'd title it appropriately. I really am thankful for cooperative weather. It made this session finally possible! This awesome family was scheduled a while back, but we had to cancel due to crazy weather. Soon afterward, it even snowed! Well, thankfully Fall returned, and we were finally able to get out and take some fun family pictures. Here are a couple for now, and I'll hopefully post more soon :)
