What a couple of cuties! I could tell big brother loved his tiny little sister, he just didn't want to hold her for a picture. My basket of trucks was much more fun! He was sure a cutie, though. I love 2 year olds. And I even got a kiss from this handsome guy!
And then there was his teeny tiny little sister. After hearing her story, there is no doubt that she is a miracle baby, and I'm so glad she is doing so well. She's beautiful!
We did manage to get a few of them together. I'll try to post some more as soon as I finish editing!
It's so fun to go out in the fall leaves and do family pictures. We got some great family group shots of these guys, but when there is a two year old involved, and you throw in those fall leaves, there is only time for playing. And running - FAST. He was definitely a mover. He didn't have time in his busy toddler life to sit still for anything, especially pictures. We did manage to catch one of him by himself. And isn't he a cutie!?
Then just try to get him to lay down in the leaves with his sisters. That was funny! This was the one and only one we got without him rolling out of the shot. HAHA! But doesn't his personality just shine through?
But his cute sisters were pros. They knew just what to do.
Titles are obviously not my strength, but since it's November, I thought I'd title it appropriately. I really am thankful for cooperative weather. It made this session finally possible! This awesome family was scheduled a while back, but we had to cancel due to crazy weather. Soon afterward, it even snowed! Well, thankfully Fall returned, and we were finally able to get out and take some fun family pictures. Here are a couple for now, and I'll hopefully post more soon :)
Remember the family I blogged about a few posts down? Well, the littlest sister didn't feel like pictures that day, so we didn't get any of her by herself. We tried again the other day, and although she still wasn't super thrilled about it (it was much more fun trying to crawl away) we got some cute ones. She is such a little sweetheart. I had fun with her :)
I totally forgot to post these of little Harlie. She is the sweetest little thing. Apparently she shares her mom's dislike of fancy dresses, however. She hated being in her blessing dress. It just made her mad. We tried several poses that she really did not like, then we spread out a black blanket on the living room floor, and she was much happier (for a minute, anyway). Then she tried to eat her dress. I guess that's one way to get mom to take it off! But isn't she beautiful? And once that dress was off, she was the happiest baby ever!
Fall is such a great time to have family pictures taken. I've been so lucky this year to get to do some really fun family pics! This cute family met me Friday night for their session. Their little 3-yr-old is such a handsome little guy. He wasn't sure at first if he really wanted to smile for me, but we ended up with some cute ones. Here's a little peek, Jen... I'll have the rest done SOON!
Oh, and Jen makes the most beautiful watches... the ones with the beaded bands. If you are looking for a really cute watch, email me and I'll give you her info!
Here are a few more from the family of those two cute little girls a couple of posts back. They were great... even though it was a tiny bit chilly. Hopefully we'll be able to get a few of that cute baby sister of theirs soon. She was done by the time it was her turn, so we are going to catch her on another day soon.
I really am going to get a few more from this session posted as soon as I can (life, ya know?) But for now I'll add these ones. These little twins are turning 2 today! They are two of the most energetic and sweet boys. Did I mention energetic? Tons of toddler energy. If only I had half of what they have... oh, the things I could accomplish! Happy Birthday guys!!
I got to take these sweet girls' and their family's pictures this past weekend. These little sweeties were the best models. I told them they were pros. They knew just what to do! I'll have some of their family pictures up in the next few days... and don't worry Jana, I'll have some more of your family up soon too.
I love doing family pictures in the fall. I love the colors... not only of the leaves, but of the clothing. And the outfits on this family were totally fall. These little almost-2-yr-old twins sure did give me a run for my money, though. They just had other things on their minds besides pictures. There were way too many fun things to see! But aren't they super cute? And that big brother of theirs... such a stud! Here ya go, Page fam. A little sneak peek. Hopefully I'll have more to post soon :)
What a perfect day for a wedding. The weather was just gorgeous! It was fun to watch family and friends make their way into the yard to wait for the ceremony. There are a lot of people who care about Megan and Marcus. The thing that made this day even more significant, is the realization of how precious life and love is. Just two days before their wedding, they were involved in a very serious car accident. They were blessed to walk away with just some bruising, but if you had seen their car, you would never believe that they were so lucky. Thankfully all was well, and the ceremony was absolutely beautiful. What a great reminder of how important our relationships are and that we should never take our loved ones for granted.
... and then it was time to really celebrate! Doesn't that look delicious?!
And I loved how sweet and simple their cake was. So pretty.
There are so many more pictures... it was tough to narrow it down to just a few for the blog. I still even have a few more to process, but it's been fun. Congratulations Megan and Marcus!
Megan and Marcus were married in a lovely ceremony last Thursday. I was so honored to be part of their day. The weather was beautiful and so was the wedding. And didn't they look fantastic? Here's just a little peek. I'm still editing like crazy. Congratulations, you two. Thanks for letting me be a part of your special day!
This was SUCH a fun session. Beautiful location... beautiful bride... and so many great pictures, I STILL couldn't narrow it down to just a few, so I'm posting a ton. Now I'm looking forward to the big wedding day! I'm excited.
