This is one seriously cool kiddo! He just started first grade, and I think he already asked someone to prom! LOL. He is a skate-boarding, bike-riding, fun-loving 6 year old, and he was the best model. He came up with a few of his own poses, and actually wanted to just keep on shooting! He kept saying "I want to take more pictures!" We had a great time.

Harlie {TWO!}
Meet one of the cutest, funniest, smartest little girls I know. She just turned two last month, and she is a total crack up. She was so good to stand and sit MOSTLY where we wanted her. She definitely had us laughing! I think she TOTALLY looks like her Mom in the first image :)

Dani and Michael {MARRIED!}
Oh my goodness... the more I shoot weddings, the more I LOVE it!! This one was so awesome. Dani and Michael are absolutely perfect for eachother. I've NEVER seen a more happy bride. She had a huge smile on her face all. day. long! The morning was beautiful. Not a cloud in the sky. That all changed in the afternoon as the clouds (and I mean DARK clouds) rolled in. Right before the OUTDOOR reception, it was pouring, thundering, and just plain crazy! They were determined to have their reception outside anyway, and just waited it out. Just before the reception was supposed to start, the clouds parted, the sun peeked out, and the rain stopped. Everyone quickly mopped up the dance floor, wiped off the tables, and started putting on the linens and center-pieces. The reception turned out BEAUTIFUL, and everyone had a great time. I'm posting a million images, because how could I NOT?

Shelley Family
I'm so glad I could fit this gorgeous family in at the last minute. They were up visiting from Mexico, where they are living right now, and Dad only had a few days before he would need to go back. It was fun to see them and meet their beautiful kids.

Sarah and Nate {MARRIED!}
Sarah and Nate were married July 8 in the Washington D.C. Temple. What a big, beautiful, amazing building! And what a beautiful couple! They looked so happy when they came out to greet their friends and family.
They celebrated the next evening in Richmond, Virginia. Their reception was lovely! A lot of work went into getting it ready. They really transformed a gym into a beautiful venue.
One special part of the night, was when Nate took the stage, guitar in hand, and sang a beautiful song that he had written years ago as a 17-year-old. He wrote it specifically to sing to his future bride. It really was a great song.
And one of my favorite events at a reception is the first dance. They are so sweet together.
Then, just a couple of weeks later, they were back in Utah for a sweet open house. It was so nice. Nate's parents' yard looked beautiful, and the cupcakes and home-made ice cream were AMAZING! What a celebration of two of the greatest people I know. Congratulations Sarah and Nate! May you have a long, happy life and a beautiful eternity!
