I'm so not good at coming up with titles, but seriously, this day was so cold! We went out and did these pics the afternoon of Black Friday... after being up all night shopping... but these two made it seem a little less cold! This is my husband's cute sister and her hubby. They live in Logan while they are attending school. We love when they come down to our neck of the woods to visit, and we always have a great time! They asked me if I could snap a few quick pics for them... their "yearly family portraits," while they were here for Thanksgiving. I love that they want to keep their pictures updated, even though it's just the two of them right now. I wish my husband and I had done the same thing, instead of waiting until we had kids. We almost FROZE getting these done, but I think it was worth it. We woke up to a ton of snow just a couple of days later!

A Little Warmth on a Freezing Cold Day!

I LOVE these guys!!
My good friend (really good friend, as in friend since preschool) called me to see if I could do some family pics for them, and I was so excited. We don't get to see each other very often, which is silly because we actually don't live that far from eachother. However, she has 6 kids, and I have 4, and life is so dang busy! Anyway, she has the sweetest kids! I knew they'd be well behaved, and cute as can be. The day was CLOUDY, and I was a little worried, because it was DARK... however, I was able to use my new off-camera flash set-up and I was excited. I'm still learning to use it, but I knew they would be okay with me adjusting and re-adjusting settings. We're friends, right? They were awesome, and her gorgeous little 7-yr-old princess (or should I say, model) was more than willing to sit and pose while I got things set up. Seriously, you should see some of her poses - I was dying!!
You may have seen this one on Facebook:
But there are so many more - and the rest of the kids were awesome too.
This little guy is totally my five-yr-old's long lost twin. Seriously, they are so much alike!!
And this little princess? She actually told me that she loved me! Made my day :)
They have a brand new baby boy, and we tried to get some of JUST him, but it was getting SO COLD outside, that we took him in for a few minutes. He wasn't real happy about that, though, so I'm hoping to go back after Thanksgiving sometime and get some of just his sweet little self. But we did venture back outside for a quick family portrait. We had to hurry, because we didn't want him to freeze!
And all the kids! Sweet little sis was pretty much DONE at this point, and baby was getting cold, but aren't they such a good lookin' little bunch? I had a great time with them.
Aren't they such a beautiful family? SERIOUSLY! I just love these guys :)

My "Almost" Teenager
Finally I'm getting to my oldest daughter's fall pics. She actually would rather have been first, but she wanted to wait until her beautiful green cast was taken off. She broke her wrist playing soccer, and had to wear a cast for a month. I can't believe how quickly kids grow up. She is almost as tall as me (I've only got her beat by an inch or two), and she wears the same size shoe! She has gotten so grown up in so many ways. She is an excellent student and a very talented artist and singer. I sure do appreciate all that she does to help me. I couldn't ask for a better babysitter, either. She is so sweet to help her little brothers with computer games and other things. I'm still in denial of the fact that she'll be 13 in just one month!
Leave her a little love, will ya? She'd love to come home from school to a few comments :)

Fun Fall Family
I really enjoyed meeting and getting to know this family. Sounds like they are a busy bunch with boys playing football, wrestling, and basketball, and a volleyball girl! They brought a little bit of sunshine on a VERY cloudy, dark afternoon.

Murray Family
This is my sister's cute little family. They asked me to come and do a big extended family picture before her hubby's Grandparents leave for their mission, so while we waited for everyone else to arrive, we did a few of just them. Isn't their little sweetie just the cutest!?
