I was so excited when my sweet sister-in-law asked me to take her engagement pictures! I knew it would be fun, because these two crazy lovebirds ARE fun!! It was quite an adventure trying to get to the right location, however. I had some great ideas... but when we got to the first location, we just drove past. I could tell that there was SOMETHING going on there. Tons of cars... lots of people... so it was off to the second location. As soon as we pulled in there, it didn't look good. Apparently there was a concert going on there. Good thing I had a third location in mind. It turned out to be a great place and we took about a million shots there, then decided to go back and try the first location again. I knew there were some spots there that were no where near the crowd. Turns out it was some kind of huge party with loud music and tons of teenagers (I think it may have been a church youth activity). So we just stayed up the hill from them and it turned out to be great! These two get married in August in the Washington D.C. Temple. Oh, how I wish I could be out there for the wedding!! Hopefully I'll get to take her bridals pics (HINT HINT!) Well, it was hard to narrow down favorites, so I posted a whole bunch. Enjoy! :)

Super Fun Family!
Happy birthday to the awesome and amazing mom of this family! This is seriously one of the coolest families I've ever met. They are so fun, and have such a great bond. And their yard? HELLO! Best. Yard. Ever!

Dad and the boys. Serious one second, laughing their heads off the next. I don't think they are really that serious ever. :)

One for now...
What a fun family! This is the first of many to come. I've just barely started editing these, but I had to post one...

I thought I should post a few more images of the soon-to-be missionary. Hopefully we'll be doing some family portraits with his family next week (if the weather cooperates!) while his brother is home for a few days. Should be FUN!!
Meanwhile, enjoy these ones :)
And here are a couple of his personal faves. I think he's going to miss the Harley (and his truck)! He may be riding a different kind of bike on his mission... to bad he can't just take the Harley.

Called to Serve
This handsome young man is getting ready to leave on a 2 year church mission. He's a great kid, and I know his parents are proud of him. In fact, I'm gonna have to ask his mom for some advice on how to raise good boys, because she's a pro. (I thought I'd better get a little sneak peek up quickly for her.) Good luck, Nash! You are going to do great. I'll be posting more pics soon!

Little Princess
I was so excited to see this Little Princess again. I got to meet her and her big brother last fall for their Christmas portraits, and she has grown so much! She was all smiles when they walked in the door, but then it was all business when she got dressed up and sat down for pics. She was the sweetest thing, though. Even when she would s l o w l y tip over onto her side every once in a while, she just acted like it was supposed to happen. No big deal. She was just as pleasant as can be. I had a great time, and it was fun to see that cute big brother again too.

Handsome Boys
Here are a few more of those handsome brothers. I'm loving square crops right now, and these close-ups were perfect as squares, at least I think so! I hope their parents know that they are in TROUBLE in a few years!!

Brothers
I always wanted a brother. I love my three sisters, but I always thought it would be the best to have a big brother who would protect me from bullies, give me piggy back rides, teach me how to do all kinds of cool things... instead I was the oldest of four girls. I gotta say, though, it wasn't all that bad. The only bad thing, is that I had no clue what to do with boys when I had one of my own. Now that I have TWO of my own, I'm kinda figuring out what boys are all about. They are rock throwing, tree climbing, fast running bundles of energy that I don't know how to keep up with. The mom of these boys has twice the boy power to deal with that I do! Actually, she's lucky. These boys are pretty darn good kids. There was still some rock throwing involved, but can you blame them? (Or should I say one of them... betcha you can guess which one!) That's way more fun!

There are more to come of these handsome guys, so stay tuned!
Oh, and don't you LOVE the collage template? I got it from Becky Earl! Check out her blog: Becky Earl Photography. She has a whole set of Blog Templates... I think there are 25 different ones! I'll be using them quite a bit in my future posts.

You know when your kid says...
"Mom, you need one of those Epiphanie bags!" that it must be true. And OH how it's true! I have two little camera bags that I squish all my stuff into, plus they are ugly. I'd LOVE one of these! Design Aglow is giving one away, and I'd LOVE to win it! Did I mention how much I LOVE these?? They are so awesome! It's hard to believe they are camera bags, they are so gorgeous.
(I borrowed this picture from the Design Aglow website.)
By the way, have you seen all the beautiful new products & contest for pro photographers on http://designaglow.com/? I'd love to have all their stuff too!

Florida's Newest Little Citizen
I'm so glad I got to meet this little angel baby before she and her family moved across the country to Florida! She was such a sweetie. She has three big brothers who adore her, and a mom and dad who are LOVING finally having a little girl! I wish their family all the best as they adjust to their new life in sunny Florida! I'm sure mom will want a little break from unpacking to have a peek at these. :)
